FARMER CHARGED WITH MURDER FOR KILLING ATTACKER

A 70-year-old farmer shot and killed an attacker aged 31 on his farm in Palmietfontein, in the Brandfort area on Monday, August 29, 2016.

The farmer was driving out of his property, when a suspect pointed a firearm through the window. The farmer managed to get out of his vehicle through the passenger side. The farmer acting in self defense shot at the suspects and wounded one of the attackers. The injured suspect died on the way to a hospital.

Charges: The suspects have been charged with attempted murder and robbery and will appear in court today.

the farmer has also been charged with murder for the death of the suspect he shot and killed.

VANESSA DREYER, BRUTALLY MURDERED IN FRONT OF HER HUSBAND & CHILDREN WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Vanessa Dreyer was brutally murdered last night in front of her husband and two young children, in the Avenues in Edenvale, during an attempted hijacking by bravo males in a White Mercedes-Benz.

Preliminary reports from the cluster suggest that an AK47 was used by the perpetrators.

Husband reportedly returned fire causing suspects to flee the scene.

This young lady is Vanessa Dreyer. She is the wife of my nephew Quinton.

They were visiting Vanessa’s sister last night, and as they were pulling out of the driveway on their way home, four black men stormed the car. One started shooting into the car, hitting Vanessa in the heart.

Quinton managed to pull out his gun and shoot back, causing the criminals to flee the scene.

He rushed her to hospital, but the medical staff were unable to save her life. Their two boys were in the car with them, but nobody else got physically hurt. I am sure the emotional scars will stay for a lifetime, however.

Our thoughts are with Quinton, my sister Janette, their two boys, and Vanessa’s family. We have no words to describe our shock and horror, and our deep sadness for your loss.

Vanessa, you were a wonderful wife to Quinton, and an amazing mother to your two boys. Rest in peace.

Clinton: Treat cyberattacks 'like any other attack'

Hillary Clinton on Wednesday called for the U.S. to begin treating cyberattacks like any other assault on the country.

“As president, I will make it clear that the United States will treat cyberattacks just like any other attack,” the Democratic presidential nominee said. “We will be ready with serious political, economic and military responses.”

Clinton called for the U.S. to “lead the world in setting the rules in cyberspace.”

“If America doesn’t, others will,” she said.

The remarks, given during a foreign policy speech at the American Legion Convention in Cincinnati, address one the central challenges the Obama administration has faced in responding to cyberattacks.

Without any international rules of engagement, officials must weigh a response to each attack individually — with the result being that the White House has often been accused of not having an adequate deterrence strategy.

Critics say that a lack of policy has muted government responses to incidents such as the massive hack of the Office of Personnel Management, which Chinese hackers are believed to have carried out.

Clinton cited the recent attack on the Democratic National Committee (DNC), thought to be carried out by Russian intelligence.

In neither hack has the White House publicly named the culprit.

Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have called for a coherent “cyber war strategy” — something akin to the Geneva Conventions that would set a policy for what is considered “an act of war” in the digital realm.

A White House policy on cyber deterrence released in December took heat from some lawmakers for “a troubling lack of seriousness and focus.”

“That kind of indecisiveness is antithetical to deterrence, and our nation simply cannot afford it,” Sen. John McCain (R-Arz.) said during a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing in April.

But part of the problem, experts say, is that it is notoriously tricky to prove who is behind a given cyberattack with 100 percent certainty.

And since many high-profile cyberattacks could be interpreted as traditional intelligence-gathering — something the U.S. itself also engages in — the White House is often in a tricky political position when it comes to its response.

The U.S. has tried to draw a red line at hacking private companies for economic gain, in September signing an anti-hacking pledge with China that prohibits such operations.

In April, Obama issued an executive order giving the Treasury Department the authority to impose sanctions on individuals or entities behind malicious cyberattacks and cyber espionage.

Officer gunned down in New Mexico by face-tattooed suspect

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A police officer who authorities say attempted to chase down a 38-year-old man with three active arrest warrants was fatally shot by the suspect Friday after an exchange of gunfire in a southern New Mexico town.

The suspect, Joseph Moreno, also was killed in the morning shootout near a trailer park in Alamogordo, police said at a news conference. The desert town of about 31,000 people is home to the White Sands National Monument and Holloman Air Force Base.

Police identified the slain officer as Clint Corvinus, a four-year veteran who graduated from high school in Alamogordo. Authorities said he is survived by his parents, girlfriend and an 8-year-old daughter.

“I am again so very saddened to see that yet another courageous law enforcement officer has been killed in the line of duty,” Gov. Susana Martinez said in a statement. “The violence against our police officers has to end, and we must do everything we can to stand up for those who put their lives on the line every single day to protect us.”

Corvinus’ death marks the second fatal shooting of a police officer in a rural area of the state in less than a month. Three weeks ago, authorities said an Ohio fugitivegunned down Officer Jose Chavez during a traffic stop in Hatch, a village about 100 miles west of Alamogordo that’s known for its green chile crop.

The suspect in that shooting, Jesse Hanes, was taken into custody after a dramatic car pursuit, a carjacking and the shooting of a bystander whose car Hanes stole, police said.

The case and other recent events have led to renewed calls from Martinez, a Republican and former prosecutor, to reinstate New Mexico’s death penalty. Lawmakers repealed it in 2009 before Martinez took office.

The governor said she would back legislation for capital punishment when the Legislature convenes in January.

In the last legislative session, prior attacks on police - including the May and October 2015 shooting deaths of officers in Albuquerque and suburban Rio Rancho - galvanized an unsuccessful push by Republicans in the state Legislature for a slate of tough-on-crime legislation.

Within hours of the shooting Friday, Rep. Nate Gentry, an Albuquerque Republican and the state’s House Majority leader, issued a statement that called for laws that “put - and keep - the violent criminals who terrorize our communities behind bars.”

Flags were flown at half-staff at the Alamogordo police department after the shootout and mourners left flowers outside the building as law enforcement and members of the state’s congressional delegation issued statements in support of the fallen officer’s colleagues and families.

Corvinus, on patrol as a field training officer Friday morning, was with another officer when they encountered Moreno. He led the officers on a foot pursuit before gunfire erupted, authorities said.

Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene. Corvinus, 33, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:18 a.m., police said.

Police said Moreno had a lengthy criminal history and had been in and out of jail since at least 2001, reports CBS affiliate KRQE. Online court records showed he was scheduled for trial in December on drug charges.

Dishonest and Biased Liberal Media Polling

The latest Rasmussen poll gives Trump a one percent lead over Hillary and the latest L.A. Times-USC poll gives Trump a 2.6 percent lead. This comes after three weeks of liberal media polls claiming that Hillary had a large lead over Trump even though she can barely half-fill a high school auditorium while Trump has been filling up sports stadiums with his massive rallies.

If you’ve been following the polls this election, you’re probably wondering which polls can be believed and which polls are complete nonsense and propaganda.

During the GOP primaries, the Marist and NBC/WSJ polls were the most dishonestly anti-Trump, and it’s a wonder that anyone takes their polling results seriously. Reuters was recently caught red-handed over-sampling Democrats for their polls as noted here, so any results put out by Reuters this election should be subject to considerable doubt.

We will probably be seeing both intentional and unintentional bias in much of the polling. The liberal media is obviously hoping that Hillary will win, and it’s no surprise if they take polls that over-sample Democrats or minorities or Muslims to try to get better results for Hillary as Reuters has already been caught doing.

An article from Rasmussen notes “Some have suggested that Donald Trump has hidden support among voters who are unwilling to say publicly where they stand because they’re fearful of criticism….”

“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 17% of Likely Republican Voters are less likely this year to let others know how they intend to vote compared to previous presidential campaigns…”

There are unintentional ways that polls can be biased against Trump. Almost every pollster is only counting the responses of people, who say they voted in 2008 or 2012. If you didn’t vote in either of those elections and you tell that to a pollster, they will consider you an “unlikely voter” and your choice for president will probably not be included in their poll. This is an enormous mistake that almost all the pollsters are making.

Why is it a mistake? Because the Republican primary in 2016, had a record voter turn out and Trump got more votes than any previous Republican candidate, ever. The Republican primary had four million more total voters than the Democrat primary, which is highly unusual for an open election (meaning no incumbent is running). The Democrats are typically much more organized and have traditionally had more people voting in their primary so this should be seen as the first big sign that things aren’t going well for Hillary.

There is a tremendous anti-System theme to the 2016 election. Both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders were tapping into this, and Trump beat all the System candidates, and Bernie probably beat Hillary if the DNC hadn’t rigged the election for Clinton. This anti-System attitude means that a lot of new people will be voting, and any pollster, who closes his eyes to this phenomenon will have a badly flawed poll. The L.A. Times/USC poll by the way is attempting to include the new people, who are showing up for Trump in their poll, which is probably why they have shown Trump ahead much more often than the other polls.

Another unintentional way of biasing a poll is for a live operator to do the polling. It’s been discovered that computer/automated polls tend to give Trump several more percent than polls in which a live operator is asking questions. Why is there a bias? Some possible explanations include: 1).The live operator may be a young liberal college student, who may be fudging the poll for Hillary, 2).Many husbands may not be willing to say out loud that they’re voting for Trump if they have a liberal wife in the house versus pressing “1” for Trump, which they could do without giving themselves away, and 3).The hateful liberal reaction to Trump supporters has been so intense, that very few Trump supporters want to tell anyone that they’re pro-Trump. If they think the poll is actually a prank call, they won’t want to say they’re pro-Trump for fear of losing their jobs or social ostracism.

The liberal media has attacked Trump with an almost unbelievable shrill, often relentless barage of accusations. The liberal attacks on Ronald Reagan did not approach the level of hatred and hysteria that the liberals have conjured up against Trump. One source notes that Chris Cuomo recently said “we [CNN] could not help her [Hillary] any more than we have… she’s got just a free ride so far with the media.”

Hillary has gotten a pass on her failing health, on the fact that she stole the primary from Bernie Sanders, on her near-infinite personal corruption, on her lying to Congress and on her colossal personal slush fund known as the “Clinton Foundation” which is thinly masked as a “charity.” Hillary of course would give an Amnesty to the 34 million illegal aliens in the U.S. right now so that they could become future Democrat voters even though this would make the U.S. much more like a Third World country.

Millions of White Americans see this election as the last chance to slow down or even reverse the invasion of America by millions of low IQ Third World invaders like the Latinos, who have invaded California, putting a colossal financial burden the state while contributing very little in taxes, overloading its infrastructure and putting California on an inevitable road to bankruptcy just like two of its cities, Stockton and San Bernardino, which have already gone bankrupt.

White people will be voting for Trump in very large numbers. Romanian hacker 'Guccifer' sentenced to 52 months in U.S. prison

A Romanian hacker nicknamed "Guccifer" who helped expose the existence of a private email domain Hillary Clinton used when she was U.S. secretary of state was sentenced on Thursday to 52 months in prison by a federal court in Alexandria, Virginia.

Marcel Lazar, 44, who used the alias online, had pleaded guilty in May to charges including unauthorized access to a protected computer and aggravated identity theft after being extradited from Romania.

Lazar's public defender, Shannon Quill, was not immediately available for comment.

Lazar has said in interviews he breached Clinton's private server at her home in Chappaqua, New York, but law enforcement and national security officials say that claim is meritless.

Lazar is believed to have hacked into email accounts of about 100 victims between 2012 and 2014.

They include prominent political figures such as former Secretary of State Colin Powell, a relative of former President George W. Bush and Sidney Blumenthal, a former Clinton White House aide and an unofficial adviser to Clinton. Clinton is now the Democratic nominee for president.

Lazar leaked online memos Blumenthal sent Clinton that were addressed to her private email account, which was used during her time as secretary of state to conduct both personal and work business in lieu of a government account.

Clinton's email arrangement, which became the subject of an FBI investigation, has drawn intense scrutiny from Republicans attempting to sow doubt about her honesty ahead of the Nov. 8 presidential election.

An entity calling itself "Guccifer 2.0" and claiming to be a Romanian hacker emerged in June and began taking credit for data breaches at the Democratic National Committee and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

U.S. intelligence officials and cyber security experts believe Guccifer 2.0 is a front for Russian intelligence services intended to spread confusion about the hacks against the Democratic Party.

Australia must choose between United States and China: U.S. Army official

A senior U.S. soldier said on Thursday Australia must choose between a stronger U.S. alliance or closer ties with China, and urged Canberra to take a tougher stance against Chinese claims in the South China Sea.

The Pentagon, however, disputed the statement by U.S. Army Assistant Chief of Staff Colonel Tom Hanson, saying it did not represent the position of the U.S. government.

"I think the Australians need to make a choice ... it's very difficult to walk this fine line between balancing the alliance with the United States and the economic engagement with China," Hanson said on Australian Broadcasting Corp. Radio.

"There's going to have to be a decision as to which one is more of a vital national interest for Australia," he said. Hanson said the comments reflected his personal view and were not necessarily that of the U.S. government.

A Pentagon spokesman said that Hanson was expressing his "personal view."

"The idea that Australia, or any country, needs to choose between its longstanding ties to the United States and its emerging links with China presents a false choice," U.S. Navy Commander Gary Ross, a Pentagon spokesman, said in a statement. "Australia has strong, multifaceted ties with its Pacific neighbors, including China, just as we seek the same."

Hanson's comments follow the publication of a parliamentary booklet warning Australian lawmakers to treat Chinese motives in the region with caution.

Australia, a staunch U.S. ally, has previously drawn criticism from China for running surveillance flights over disputed islands in the South China Sea, and supporting U.S. freedom of navigation exercises there.

However, Australia has not conducted a unilateral freedom of navigation voyage of its own.

"Clearly China believes that they have an opportunity and they feel empowered to flout that, and a demonstration by Australia would be welcome," Hanson said.

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said in response to Hanson's comments that the U.S. role in the Indo-Pacific region was as important now as it had ever been.

"We are balancing relationships between our largest strategic ally and our largest trading partner with deft diplomacy, consistency and pragmatism," Bishop said in a statement.

China is Australia's biggest trading partner and a large source of foreign investment, spending $11.1 billion on Australian assets, mostly property, in 2015, accounting and advisory firm KPMG and the University of Sydney have said.
